Τα περιστέρια
Ησύχασε ο κόσμος, φοβήθηκε, υπάκουσε. Γιατί όταν πρόκειται για την πάρτη σου, όταν κλάνεις μέντες, υπακούς. Υπάκουσα κι εγώ. Μόνο το 2 πατάω -που και που-, όνομα, διεύθυνση, αποστολή.
Και πάω μέχρι το σούπερ και πίσω πάλι. Στις πλατείες, αράζουν πια μόνο τα περιστέρια. Τα περιστέρια και τα όργανα της τάξης. Στους δρόμους, κυκλοφορούν μόνο ντελίβερυ. Και σκουπιδιάρικα. Και ρακοσυλλέκτες. Τώρα δεν ντρέπονται να ψάχνουν για αποφάγια πια. Ποιον να ντραπούν; Τώρα δεν ντρέπονται να επιβιώσουν.
Και κάθεσαι στο σπίτι και τσακώνεσαι. Γιατί ποτέ δεν είχες το χρόνο να το κάνεις… Και κάθεσαι και σκέφτεσαι, και διαβάζεις, και καθαρίζεις τα σοβαντεπί και το πατάρι, και γαμάς, και κάνεις δίαιτα. Παίζεις μουσική, λύνεις παζλ, μιλάς με ανθρώπους που σου έλειψαν, κοιτάς από το παράθυρο, και βλέπεις πώς αλλάζει το φως στη διάρκεια της μέρας. Γιατί ποτέ δεν είχες το χρόνο να το κάνεις…
Κι έτσι περνάει κι αυτή η μέρα, και παραγγέλνεις κιάλια και τηλεσκόπιο για να παρακολουθείς τους γείτονες αλλά, και το Άλφα του Κενταύρου. Για να κρατάς δυο σταθερές. Για να μειώνεις την απόσταση…
The pigeons
The world appeased, got scared, obeyed. Because if it’s about yourself, when you are up shit creek, then you obey. So did I. Sometimes I just type 2, name, address, send.
…just going for shopping and then back home. In the squares now only the pigeons hang out. The pigeons and the bobbies. In the streets you can see only deliveries. And garbage trucks. And scavengers. Now they are not ashamed to look for leftovers. To whom should they feel ashamed? Now they are not ashamed to survive.
So you are sitting at home and you are at each other’s throats. Because you had never time to do it. And you are sitting and thinking, and reading, and cleaning the walls and the storeroom, and fucking, and being on a diet. You are playing music, solving puzzles, speaking with people that you missed, looking out of the window, watching how light changes during the day. Because you had never time to do it…
So another day is passing by, and you are ordering binoculars and telescope in order to observe your neighbours, but also the Centaurus A. In order to keep two constants. In order to reduce the distance…
